3D Digitization

Crankshaft’s 3D digitization
The Haute Alsace metrology platform offers services or studies on site or in the laboratory for contactless 3D Digitization of engineering parts. Using tried and tested optical methods, we are able to scan objects of all shapes: objects with complex shapes, very small objects, even people.
Other optical techniques are available to analyse vibration behaviour, study part distortion and measure movement via tracking.
In addition to carrying out measurement, we offer comparative studies with contact measurement methods, we develop means of testing that we can integrate into your production lines.

Applications 3D Digitization

Handyscan ROMER

  • 3D prototyp in ABS plus
  • Rapid testing of complex geometries: 3D Digitization of objects of all shapes, comparison with a reference part or CAD file
  • Reverse engineering: scanning a part for which a plan is no longer available (restarting of production, competition study, ...)
  • Production: aging of a production tool (mould, impression...), end of line testing, validation of a manufacturing process, model making
  • Expert examination and counter expert examination of defective parts
  • Scanning people: bespoke clothing, biometric recognition...
  • Non Destructive control
  • Virtual cutting view
  • Plastic material health
  • The art world: studying aging and heritage conservation, reproduction of a work...
  • World of communication: creation of manipulable 3D objects (Web catalogue), or 3D animations
